Holland Michigan Condos

The number of condo units sold over the past 5 years has stayed about the same in Holland, Michigan. In 2003 there were 196 units in Holland that sold. In 2004 we had an increase in sales by 10 total units when 206 condos sold. In 2005 there were a total of 211 condo sales up 5 units from the year before. In 2006 we had a decrease of 13% in condo units sold when 184 condos in Holland were sold. 2007 had similar results when 182 condo units sold.

Sales price is really the telling stat when it comes to the condo market in Holland Michigan. In 2003 the average sales price of a condo unit was $156,278. In 2004 we had a jump in sales price up to $165,640. 2005 was an even better year for condo sales in Holland. The average sales price during the year was $168,959. 2006 and 2007 we saw a drop in average selling price of all Holland Michigan Condos. In 2006 the average sales price dropped to $157,997 and in 2007 the average sales price of the condo market was $149,936.

So over the past 2 years we have had an 11% reduction in average selling price. Adding that to the fact that we had a 14% reduction in the number of condos that sold doesn't make it any easier. To sell a condo you need to be willing to price it aggressively, and also have a Realtor who will market it aggressively. Please give me a change.
