Zeeland Michigan Condos

The other day I posted information about Holland Michigan Condos on my blog. Today I would like to take a look at Zeeland Michigan Condos.

Over the last 5 years there are some telling statistics about the condo market in Zeeland, Michigan. In 2003 60 condo units sold, in 2004 in Zeeland Michigan there were 53 condo closings that took place. In 2005 we saw the greatest amount of condo sales over the past 5 years when 64 condos sold. 2006 was not a great year for condo sales in Zeeland Michigan, during the year only 38 condos were sold. Last year we saw an increase in condos sold when 50 condos were sold.

The average sales price of these condos over the past 5 years is really the telling statistic. In 2003 the average sales price was $153,235. 2004 the average sales price was $161,288, and at the height of the Zeeland condo market in 2005, the average sales price was $162,532.

2006 we saw a major reduction in the number of condo units that sold, but the average sale price stayed about the same. The average sales price in Zeeland Michigan for the year was $162,321. Last year was totally different. Although, the number of units that sold increased, the average sale price was $142,668. Over a 12% reduction in average sales price in just a years time.
