As you can see the average sale price for 2009 in Holland Michigan was about the same it was in 1997. This can tell you a few different things. First, to sell your home you will need to price it competitively, and often times less than you were hoping for. Second, homes in the higher price ranges are not selling very often. If there several homes that sold on Lake Michigan or Lake Macatawa then the average sale price would be much higher. Finally, it tells us that many homes that are selling in Holland are on the low end. In 2009 there were over 400 homes that sold for under $100,000. This is going to bring the average sale price down.
