After you have gone shopping, eaten and walked the shoreline there are more things for you to do. There are golf courses and places to canoe, kayak and sail. There is a great floating maritime museum and even a hand-cranked ferry that takes people across the Kalamazoo River. You can charter a fishing boat, go horseback riding or check out the farmer's market.
There are many different places to stay from resorts on the lake shore, hotels and the finer bed and breakfasts. All of these offer warm and friendly accommodations for almost as many as you can bring. You can have an amazing vacation along Kalamazoo River or a great family outing.
