Grand Haven, MI Luxury Homes For Sale
This page shows current luxury and waterfront listings in Grand Haven, Michigan, alongside the sale record for waterfront homes in the city.
Waterfront homes in Grand Haven sold at a median of $498,900 over the last ten years, across 301 sales, with a median of 26 days on market. The record runs from 7 September 2016 to 7 September 2026 and comes from flexmls across six MLS boards (residential, sold, waterfront). The median original asking price was $519,900, and the average sale was $630,792.
Of the eleven West Michigan markets in our ten year waterfront record, Grand Haven has the fourth highest median. East Grand Rapids ($1,900,000, from 55 sales), Spring Lake ($599,500) and Douglas and Saugatuck combined ($555,000) are higher. South Haven is just below at $495,000, and Holland follows at $474,950.
The water counted in this record is all water inside the city boundary: Lake Michigan frontage, inland lakes, rivers and channels. The record does not split those, so it cannot say what a home on the channel sells for compared with a home on open lake frontage. If you are looking at a specific property, ask your agent for sales on the same type of water.
Grand Haven's average sale of $630,792 is lower than Spring Lake's $813,826 in the same record, so fewer very high priced sales pull its average up.
One thing to know before you rely on any median: it is a middle point across ten years of sales. It is not a prediction and it is not the price of any particular home. Median sale and median asking figures also come from different properties, so they are not a measure of how much sellers came down.
